Sandbox
The sandbox is a staging environment that mirrors the real API so you can build and test safely, without affecting live data or devices.
What the sandbox is
It’s a self-contained test environment exposing the same endpoints as production, backed by test data. You can exercise the full request/response flow — authenticate, create records, read attendance, trigger enrolment — without any real-world effect. Nothing you do in the sandbox touches production systems or physical devices in the field.

Trying endpoints without writing code
Every endpoint in the Software API and Device API reference has a request console — paste your token, fill the fields, and see the exact cURL, JavaScript, Python, or PHP for that call. It’s the fastest way to understand a request before you wire it into your app.
When you’re ready to go live, Tipsoi issues production credentials separately. Your code stays the same — you only swap the base URL and the token.
